Ginger Crunchy Cookies

Method

  1. Cream ingredients B for 4 minutes. Add egg and continue beating for ½ minute. Add molasses syrup and grated ginger. Continue beating for 1 minute.
  2. Fold in ingredients A to form a soft dough.
  3. Drop dough by a teaspoon onto a greased baking tray. Bake in oven at 180°C for 15 – 20 minutes.

1 tbsp        freshly grated ginger & juice

Bake King bicarbonate soda

1 tbsp
Bake King ginger powder

½ tsp
Bake King cinnamon powder

175g
Bake King shortening

180g
castor sugar
